One of the project that I love doing with my students in the first digital lighting class is this Match to Live Action project. They learn a great deal about the fundamentals of light in the real world such as key to fill ratio, shadow quality, bounce light, and so much more. They embrace it!
F23 – Collaboration at its best!
In Fall of 23, our students had yet another opportunity to be mentored by teams from The Mill NY. “Team Mountain” included Zach Jantz, Yeona Choi, Dee Divikaran, and Mateo Solarzano. Whimsical project captured the attention of our mentors while they worked to also keep it “based in reality”. The team worked well together while managing their other coursework, jobs, and life in general.
Many thanks to all of our mentors on this project!
