About Bridget

Bridget has worked in a variety of roles related to the Visual Effects industry for over 26 years. Her desire to achieve photorealism and believability in digital imagery keeps her focused on aesthetics. She enjoys finessing the large and small details of making each shot perfect.

Currently Bridget is Professor of Visual Effects at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.  For the last fifteen years, she has helped to develop new course work which help to elevate the aesthetics and technical skills of student projects.

Prior to working at SCAD, she spent 9 years in production at Rhythm and Hues Studios as a Digital Lighter, Lead/Supervisor, Look Development Artist, Texture Painter, Compositor, and more on feature films such as Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, Scooby Doo, Garfield, and The Chronicles of Narnia. This experience has had a significant impact on the curriculum she has helped to develop.

Before Rhythm and Hues, Bridget worked for Post Effects in Chicago as a 3D generalist where she focused on smaller-scale projects for commercial, corporate, and video games.  Her clients included Motorola, Intel, Coca Cola, and more.
